April Reading List

It’s been a while since I did a roundup of what’s on my current reading list, so I figured it was about that time. I haven’t been reading a lot lately, I’ve just been super busy and distracted. I also had some books I bought over the winter with great ambitions to finish and then that never happened. So I haven’t had any room in my life for new books; so sad!

4.1.16 - Reading List

Cravings

If you aren’t following Chrissy Teigen on Twitter or Instagram then you are missing out big time. If you do follow her, then you know she eats like everything and cooks a ton. Her new cookbook recently came out and it’s full of her favorite recipes to cook. Some of them are super fancy and some of them have Doritos in them. It’s probably the epitome of the millenial woman’s cookbook.

Me Before You

So you might have seen by now that this book is going to be a movie. If not, the trailer is here. I had a few friends tell me I should read this book and then mentioned “you know, if you want to have a good sob.” Great. Count me in. You know I went right out and bought this. I’m like 1/4 through it and probably going to finish it over the weekend.

Adulting

Every 20-something needs this book. It’s basically a hilarious how-to on being a grown person. If you don’t get sound advice from this, at least you will get some laughs.

The Nightingale

This book is set in France during WWII about two sisters in different cities trying to survive. If you liked All The Light We Cannot See, then you’ll like this book. A salesperson at Barnes & Noble recommended this book to me actually, because yes I am a person who goes to B&N weekly and probably am closer to the sales staff than most of my actual friends.

What book are on your spring reading list? I’d love any suggestions to pick the mood back up after sobbing my way through Me Before You!
