I’m back! I know last week was a long week without many new posts, but I was feeling pretty under the weather. I gave myself a week off from the blog, e-mail, and general after work computer time. I feel a million times better.
While I wasn’t feeling so great, I did have plenty of time to do some catch up on my beauty regimen. In the past few weeks I’ve found three new products that are so amazing they had to be shared.
With Spring’s arrival, I’m really feeling the pain of having a desk job where I never get any sunlight. I’ve just had enough of being perpetually pale. So I got this St. Tropez gradual tanning lotion to try.
I’ve never been big on self-tanners or gradual lotions. I thought they smelled terrible and left marks on everything. And since everything in my apartment is white, this is a terrible combination.
After several recommendations, I picked up this St. Tropez Everyday Gradual Tan lotion and absolutely love it.
It doesn’t have that usual self-tanner smell. It definitely goes on gradually as well. I was worried about going from super pale to weirdly tan and that was not the case at all. It’s also really moisturizing; my legs haven’t been dry at all with this. I’ve only tried it on my legs so far to see what sort of result I got. I’m really happy with the way it looks. I definitely recommend this if you are about to go on a trip and want a little glow before you go or if you are like me and just need to feel a little better.
I also picked up the St. Tropez Applicator Mitt too and it keeps your palms from getting any tanner on them!
Another very recent purchase while at Sephora was the Shiseido Ibuki Multi Solution Gel. This stuff is out of control amazing. It’s a gel that you use for targeting breakouts and make pores appear smaller. It’s basically a little miracle gel.
I’ve been using it all over my face to help my complexion, minimize pores, and help keep my skin moisturized. It really does everything! And it goes on smooth, not sticky. You can also spot treat breakouts OVER your makeup with this without having to reapply or fix your makeup.
It doesn’t take much to really do its job. I’ve been using about a nickel size amount each day before putting on my makeup and I can already tell a huge difference. I would say a little pot of this should last about 2-3 months if you use it every day all over your face and to spot treat throughout the day. You will definitely get your money’s worth out of this.
My last recent find is my new go-to hairspray. It’s Amika Touchable Hairspray. I’ve been getting random Amika products for months in my Birchbox, but picked this hairspray up because my sister recommended it. It’s safe to say I will not be using any other hairspray as long as this exists.
I’m a huge fan of hairsprays that hold your style, but leave hair soft. Amika’s Touchable hairspray definitely leaves hear feeling soft. I tried it out and my second day curls were still perfect the next day. A huge bonus is that it also smells amazing.
Let me know if you have any good beauty finds! I’m always looking for suggestions!
