I am totally loving having a long birthday weekend, but not really happy with this 0 degree weather. Who is making this happen?
Regardless of the frigid temps, I had a wonderful birthday weekend. I had a tiki bash saturday night with most of my friends and spent my actual birthday doing absolutely nothing but watching Netflix and reading. I also may have done some online shopping to treat myself.
I found one of my favorite sweaters this Winter on serious sale and had to share it with you now.
I picked this buffalo check sweater up early in Winter at Banana Republic because I just thought it was super cute. And it’s actually really soft. I usually act like a 6 year old about sweaters and think they are all itchy.

I’m also a huge fan of wearing white jeans all year round. I think they are perfect winter jeans because all the best colors of winter go perfectly with white jeans.
I also don’t really listen to most of the “fashion rules” because they’re pretty outdated. You know the ones, like no white after labor day, no navy and black together, that kind of stuff. I think we’re all just doing whatever we want now.
So wear all the white you want after labor day!
I’ve had a few people e-mail about my favorite lace up flats. My favorite pair from Topshop is sold out, but I’ve been keeping an eye out for similar pairs and found these, these, and these for you that are the most similar. I included a few other pairs/colors in the shop section at the bottom.
