We are finally getting some sweater weather here in St. Louis, I mean if you count the first 3 hours of the day as sweater weather, the next 8 as swimsuit weather, and all night as parka weather. You’re wonderful, Midwest, never change. I’m actually kind of getting excited to break out the sweaters. I’ve been finding so many good Fall clothes, especially sweaters, not to mention I have tons of sweaters from the past few years that I still love to wear.

I picked up this cozy Fall turtleneck a few weeks ago and cannot wait to wear it all the time. It’s actually a great sweater for when it’s still this in between weather because it’s not a super tight knit. I wore my favorite basic tank which I can’t live without underneath it to be safe. I also went up a size to a medium to make it a little more cozy and roomy. I love to get the thicker knit sweaters a little big so they have a cozy, comfy look and feel to them. This is definitely one of the softest sweaters I’ve found in a while. I feel like every sweater is so itchy and irritating I can hardly wear them. That’s also partly because I’m just a huge baby about everything.

Turtlenecks are always hit or miss for me. I tend to buy only big turtlenecks or cowl necks because there is nothing that makes me feel less supermodel and more swamp creature than a too tight turtleneck. I love to wear my chunky knits with my favorite distressed jeans. I’m a huge fan of Levi’s jeans because they have a high waist and it sounds so old lady but it makes them so much more flattering. As someone not genetically gifted in the booty department, I appreciate that Levi’s actually gives me a good shape. I definitely recommend sizing up at least 1 if not 2 sizes. I’m a 28 almost everywhere and had to go up to a 30 in Levi’s. Another great reminder that size is just a number and it’s all about how you look. I don’t tend to get bogged down in what size I’m wearing. I’ve bought a 2 at LOFT and a 12 at J.Crew all in the same day before. Just your daily reminder everything is a lie.

Is anyone else ready for sweater weather full time or do you guys want it to stay warm as long as possible?

I hope everyone has a great week!

That sweater looks so cozy, but it’s the shoes that steal the show here!!
