Can you believe it’s already February?! I mean, I really feel like it was just New Year’s, how is it already February?
I will say I am very happy the weather was all Spring-like this past weekend. Chuck was so pleased with all our time spent at the park. He was not so pleased with the number of kids at the park though.
The bad news is that it’s supposed to be really cold again this week. Which is kind of fine with me because I’m still in the mood to wear all my cozy sweaters. I know I complain about hating Winter a lot, but I sort of like it sometimes. Especially when it involves me watching Netflix on the couch in my yoga pants and thick sweater.
If you’re headed to Mardi Gras this weekend, you’ll need to break out the winter sweaters and hats. My favorite new hat is this knit hat with the pom on top. It’s so cute and adds just a little something extra to your ear warming accessories.

You also know I love a good fair isle sweater. I think they’re perfect all Winter long and are just so cute. It really makes me want to go skiing. Or you know, at least go to a ski resort and drink wine by a fire while other people ski. I would be so good at that.
