Can we all agree we’re over this whole Winter thing? I can’t really handle any more days below freezing before I’m going to have to commit to never leaving the house again. I am actually so proud of myself for investing in a puffer coat and so many faux fur jackets during the Fall. One of my absolute favorite finds was this faux fur bomber jacket. It was one of those purchases that you know instantly you have to have it right then.
I really bought it just because I thought it was so cute and had no real expectation for functionality. It turns out it’s been super warm and useful while the weather has been insanely cold. It’s been my go-to on weekends with jeans and sneakers for running errands. There is nothing like channeling your inner Liz Taylor at Target on a Saturday morning in your faux fur.
I’ve always had a small obsession with fur. I can remember my sister and I finding my grandma’s fur coats in a closet in her house and playing dress up in them. Of course she encouraged this because she understood the need to wear a fur coat at the age of 6. Now I would never even dream of owning a real fur or leather jacket because I just love animals. But I am not above the faux fur or faux leather piece.
My weekend style is usually pretty laid back since I spend all week in a suit or dress. So I like to keep it easy in a t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers. Since it’s way too cold to wear my favorite faux leather jacket, I’ve switched to this faux fur bomber coat. It’s a little on the expensive side, but it’s honestly been worth every penny with how warm it is. I’ve also paired it with a dress, leggings, and over the knee boots for a fun night out look. I’ve worn it to work a few times as well and you can read all my tips on faux fur at work here.
I rounded up some of my favorite faux fur bomber jackets below for you. Almost all of them are under $100 as well because not everyone has an obsession with faux fur like I do. Has anyone else snagged a faux fur bomber or vest this Winter?
