Don’t worry, the whole week wasn’t acai bowls and salad. On Sunday I third wheeled my sister and her husband to Hamilton and I was such a good girl they took me to Shake Shack after.

Warm weather is finally in St. Louis! I snapped this picture last weekend for Insta Stories and got lots of q’s about these jeans and my favorite straw bag. So I wanted to add them here in case you want them!

My skin has been ca-razy the past week. So this weekend is all about face masks. How cute is this otter one? I know this will be terrifying on but I just love otters so much I can’t resist. I also live by these Patchology Flashpatch eye and lip masks!

The past few weeks (months) have been just crazy. I’ve been so busy with work and exciting things in March to celebrate how amazing women are at everything. I was lucky enough to meet Ann Shoket last month when she came to speak at my firm for an event I helped plan. She is the former editor in chief of Seventeen and author of The Big Life. I loved her book and found it so motivating, especially trying to balance a career, side hustle, family, friends, dating. If you’re in need of some motivation or to feel like a badass babe, you need to read The Big Life!

I went to California a few weeks ago to spend the weekend with my best friend. We hadn’t seen each other in over a year so we made plans to do absolutely nothing but hang out. It’s hard to have a long distance bff because you feel like traveling to see each other means you have to make the most of seeing them plus a trip. But I’ve worked in San Francisco before for a few months and I’ve been for fun like 7 or 8 times so I just don’t feel pressure to do all the things. Plus I’ve been so exhausted from all the exciting (and sometimes very stressful) things happening in life I just wanted some quality time with my girl.

In other news, I found a new apartment! My lease is up soon and I’ve been living in the same apartment for FOUR YEARS. I emphasize this because it’s the longest I’ve lived in one place since I moved out of my parents house over a decade ago. But it just felt like time for a change. I may be selling a few items from my apartment now over the next few weeks. Would you guys be interested in me posting them on Instagram stories? Facebook? Leave a comment and let me know if you’d be interested in seeing what I’m selling!

I hope you have a great weekend!

Lots of fun packed into this Friday post! FOUR years is a long time! I think 3 years is my running longest time..and I currently own a home…but it’s on the market because I’m getting married this Summer and we both own, so we have to consolidate. I’ve had good luck with Facebook Marketplace too. Cheers!
