I love a good romper and I love even more when the weather is nice enough to wear them anytime I want. This weekend was so gorgeous I spent most of it outside, which is not something I’m known for. I spent approximately 1 hour at the pool on Saturday, which is just long enough for me to get a sunburn with that 70 SPF. So that’s just how I’m living life now. I kind of being dramatic about it, I actually do have a tiny bit of a tan which looks ridiculous thanks to the cutouts on my swimsuit. But I’ll take it!
I took Chuck on a long walk early Sunday because we already celebrated Mother’s Day the weekend before. I love walking around our neighborhood especially right now because there are so many cute houses and lots with the best flower boxes ever. We also love to stop and get coffee at a little place on the way back to our apartment, sometimes I think Chuck would rather stop at the bar next to it though.
I’ve never been a huge fan of shorts in summer, because I’m not exactly rocking the thigh gap. Which by the way I’m totally OK with if it means I get to eat queso. Living my best life over here. I like rompers because they are comfortable like a dress, but a little more casual and I don’t feel like I have to be so ladylike. I picked this one up for a ridiculous steal. I also love this, this, and this option. The denim jacket is one of my favorite spring pieces. I’ve had this one from Gap forever and it’s so perfectly worn in right now. I also found really similar options here and here. I wear tons of hats during the summer because it keeps my hair healthy and because sunburns. I love the straw boater hat look. I wear it tons, you saw it here last week. I picked mine up last summer here.
