Now that the rain has cleared up in St. Louis it’s back to regularly scheduled programming in my closet. I’m ready to get back to warm weather and wearing sandals instead of rain boots every day. I’ve been on the hunt lately for good casual Spring/Summer dresses for under $100. I like the challenge of trying to get the best deals, but also don’t feel so bad if I buy a few and just wear them on rotation.
I’ve mentioned before that I love to wear black, cream, blush, and grey which are my typical work uniform. But when warm weather rolls around, I’m ready to add in some color and bring my wardrobe back to life. I sometimes also feel like I can’t pull off bright colors or like I look like a kid in them. Which is just the stupidest thing ever. This year I’m making it a point to wear more bright colors because I damn well feel like it.
I’ve always really loved florals when it comes to pattern. I know, “florals for Spring, groundbreaking.” When I found this little red floral number I knew it would be on repeat in my Spring wardrobe. I wore it like 4 days in a row right after I bought it. I love a lightweight dress I can wear with a denim jacket or cardigan. It also makes it great for travel because you can get a lot of use out of it. I loved this particular dress because it kind of reminds me of the vintage table cloths my mom collects. And it kind of reminds me of the costumes in the movie State Fair which to this day is still my Summer style inspiration.
Since I’m always on the hunt for under $100 dresses, I’ve been rounding them up to share with you guys! You can shop any of them in the widget below OR I went ahead and added a new page under the shop section. Just hover over SHOP at the top and click on Under $100 Dresses! I’ll always be updating that page so you can find all the best deals anytime. If you like this, let me know if there are any other budget friendly items you’d want me to keep rounding up for you!
