I think I’ve mentioned before how I’ve had to really put the brakes on my scarf shopping. But then winter happens and days like yesterday where it’s a high of 18 degrees out and I remember why I bought 100 scarves.
St. Louis just has really cruel weather. One day it’s 50 and the next, Chuck’s freezing his tiny tail off in 30 seconds. Anyone else with a dog just feel like the meanest person ever during Winter? I think Chuck might look ridiculous in his own blanket scarf though.
Luckily I found my new mecca of the softest scarves ever last weekend; the Nordstrom junior’s department. I just happened upon a huge table of them while I was perusing Topshop and it was a fantastic surprise. They were all under $25 too! The hidden gem of Nordstrom.
I always feel like there’s a fine line for acceptable thickness of blanket scarves. I constantly live in fear of being Lenny Kravitz wearing an actual blanket as a scarf walking down the street.
Luckily these fit the bill of just the right size and warmth. This is the one I’m wearing here and it may be the softest of all the options. I also love this, this, and this.
And really good other news at Nordstrom, these heels are still on sale and maybe one of the best purchases I’ve made in shoes in a while.
I also finally have fulfilled a lifelong dream of only owning an all black wardrobe with the addition of these new black aviators. Shout out to my family for the gift cards for Christmas, couldn’t have made this dream happen without you.
